AtJazz and Charles Webster to heat up the Lost Summer Sessions
In-demand producer and dj AtJazz will be rocking the Lost Summer Sessions alongside soulful and deep house don Charles Webster at One Central on 22nd of July. I’m pretty excited about this. It’s needless to say but just in case you don’t know who we’re dealing with here; fresh from the Defected summer party alongside Copyright, Kid Creme and Junior Jack, At Jazz has remixed tracks for the likes of Bob Sinclair, Anane Vega (MAW’s Louie Vega’s wife) and Black Coffee among a long list of projects. Plus, Webster’s musical achievement surpass the ten years he’s been on the scene. These include selling over 100,000 albums (for an underground artist working in a digital age, it’s impressive) and remixes for one of my favourite labels, Tribe Records.
The Lost Summer Sessions is one of Manchester’s new deep house parties and will be one of the biggest of the season after securing this much admired pair, in my opinion. Previously held at The Lock in Failsworth outside of the city centre, Jeff DaCaf and Damien Hse Lee’s night will certainly bring the heat to Manchester.
Lost Summer Sessions, Friday 22nd July 2011, 11pm to 4am, One Central, 1 Central Street, Manchester
Tickets are £8/£10 on the door before midnight, available from Eastern Bloc Records, GAFFS newsagents in Fallowfield and http://www.skiddle.com.
