Get down in your dinner time
Manchester office workers looking to get away from cellophane-wrapped soggy sandwiches, aimless internet browsing or battling through the high street crowd should make their way to Black Dog Ballroom next Thursday for Lunch Beat.
Dance away your work-day blues to a soundtrack of house in the middle of the afternoon. A complimentary light lunch and water is arranged for you at the event, which originated in a Swedish car park 2 years ago.
The concept has gone global and is organised by DJ Marvin Speakman and music producer Chris Lloyd for the Mancunian contingent desperate to get away from their desks.
The pair hosted the successful debut in May and you can listen to the mix from that day’s afternoon rave below.
Sounds good? Of course. Just remember: Don’t talk about work at Lunch Beat.
